Post-graduate students of the Bioethics Centre at the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand set up this page as an online space primarily for students to share ideas (the opinions expressed on this blog may or may not be representative of the Bioethics Centre’s philosophy).
If you wish to contribute material to the blog then please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, we will be happy to hear from you. It can be anything from something interesting you’ve read in the news to a more fully developed piece of work from your study. You might even want to suggest a topic for one of the students in the Bioethics Centre to post about.
You will notice that some blog posts are anonymous, this is because some students are not yet comfortable with putting their names to half-baked thoughts and then publishing into the blogosphere. The purpose of this blog is to encourage bioethical ideas and discussion and to encourage students to engage on an online forum. Once they become more comfortable the hope is that there will be less anonymous posting.
All posts will be reviewed by an administrator of this blog. Any disrespectful posts will not be published, and any disrespectful comments will not be posted.
